Hello, I am very curious about the answer to the following question.
When I was choosing this product, I thought that it has a lidar sensor so it would move forward without hitting the objects around it, but even when moving near the straight wall, it makes contact with its right side to determine the edge every time. This contact causes it to leave a black mark in that area after a while.
Why don't you use a Lidar sensor for distance?
Why does it have to make constant contact at the edges?
I am asking this as a software engineer
Roborock S7 MAXV
S7maxV has lidar sensor and it's on top of the robot.
We hope we could work with you to locate the cause and address it. Would you please contact us at support@roborock.com(if you are in EU, contact support@roborock-eu.com)so that we can better assist?
