We have great news to share. Our brand new S5 Max, the latest in our S series of robots, has been selected as a CES 2020 Innovation Awards honoree.

Of course, we think S5 Max deserves this award, because it gives people a full robotic cleaning experience, with just one robot. 

Vacuuming and mopping can be scheduled, paused, and controlled from the Roborock app. Even mopping can be customised by setting the right water flow for each room based on floor type or dirtiness. This water control is made possible because of our selection of a highly reliable, highly controllable electronic peristaltic pump to live at the heart of the mopping system. 

S5 Max, like all of our robots, quickly adapts to the home it is in. A combination of environmental sensors, including accelerometer, odometer, compass, and bumper along with its advanced LIDAR mapping system creates hyper-accurate maps of every room so that it can go about cleaning thoroughly. Using cliff sensors, it won’t roll off ledges, and after mapping it will never crash hard into walls..
