In my first post I had a mistaken assumption. The information to follow is correct...Tech specs show my Hitron Gateway to use 2.4 GHz wi-fi. On my phone I enable location access for the Roborock app, but the app cannot find the vacuum. I can't see why my two Samsung phones cannot find and communicate with the vacuum.
Hi, E2 could only work with Mihome app. Please check attached file.
When trying to connect an E20 vacuum to the Roborock app on an Android phone through a Hitron CGNV2 router, users often encounter communication issues. This problem, which can be particularly frustrating, might be related to the router's configuration or network compatibility. The metronet an Internet Service Provider known for its fiber-optic networks, can sometimes require specific router settings to enable seamless communication between devices. To resolve this issue, users may need to adjust the Hitron CGNV2's security settings or ensure that both the vacuum and the phone are on the same network frequency.
